Welcome to Føllingstua
Føllingstua is located idyllic in the southern end of the lake Snåsavatnet, 200 m from highway E6, 14 km north of Steinkjer. Here you can stay in peaceful, and undisturbed surroundings. The camping is situated on a grass field, close to the shore, with a path leading down to, and along the beach. Here we have a marina, and if you like, you can have a bath. The possibilities of catching fish close to the camping is good, trout, char, burbot, and eel are to be found here. A nice place for families, with playground, canoes for hire, and barbeque facilities.
Accommodations
Cabins
Føllingstua have 12 cabins for all year round use:
- 6 consisting of 1 room with 4 beds, fridge, and cooking facilities. Electrical heating.
4 consisting of 2 rooms, bathroom/WC, 5 beds, fridge, cooking facilities and TV. 1 is build specially for disabled people.
- 2 consisting 2 bedrooms, bathroom/WC, 5 or 6 beds, kitchen, livingroom and TV.
Rooms
- We have 3 rooms with 2 beds, small kitchen, sink and TV. Sheared shower and WC.
Camping
- We have an area for 50 caravans and campers, 20 of these are booked by all year round guests. Additionally we have an area for tents.
Our guests can freely use the TV-room, and living room with
an open fireplace.
Activities
- Holiday in picturesque surroundings, gives possibilities for activities both summer and winter
- Boats, and canoes for hire, fishing and bathing
- Good possibilities for a walk (New path is under construction)
- Paddling in a river, and canoe safari
- Playground
- Ice fishing possibilities, ski track with electrical-light, ski and play facilities with lift and el-light. (1 km) Ski tracks (3 km)
